Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Please find below four [4] ELO related news bites for your perusal from Yours Truly KJS thus:

Four Little Diamonds - Live!
Here's some great footage of The Orchestra performing "Four Little Diamonds" at The Robin 2, Bilston back in October 2009. Yours Truly KJS on behalf of ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] was there to witness this ELO classic live for the very first "Time" thus:

Wheels of Fire Debut
Here's some footage of the first ever song performed by Phil Bates' new project Wheels Of Fire late last month at Whitmore Reans Cons Club in Wolverhampton:

Jeff Lynne - New Album Delayed?
This interesting comment was to be found in the NEWS section of Nicolas Guibert's excellent web site recently"Initially due on May or June, the new album of Jeff Lynne should be delayed. Actually, he is still in studio to finalize his solo project. According to his daughter Laura on Facebook, he is recording some backing vocals."

Rumours of ELO
Finally, here are two [2] articles by Adam Sherwin at entitled "ELO, the band the Beatles could have been, set for shock return?" and "ELO vs. Oasis: But which of the rock titans will hit comeback trail first?" for you to peruse thus:

Until next "Time" in the ELO [and related] Universe ... KJS ... 28-June-2010

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Yours Truly KJS received a comment over on Berean Beacon the other day, reference this article thus:

"Hi Keith, there are several of these examples around. I personally use the one where Carl Sagan said, "The chance of life spontaneously emerging is 1 with 2 billion zeros after it. Carl was as atheistic as they come. God bless, Colin. (ex-ELO front of house PA mixer for the 1985 tour.)"

The comment was from Colin Owen, who was the front of house PA mixer for ELO for their 1985[6] dates. He too calls into question the [so called] theory of evolution. This is once again another example of the continuing intertwining that goes on with Yours Truly KJS in regard to my interest in all things ELO and my faith.

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Yours Truly KJS recently picked up a copy of Fyfe Dangerfield's great new solo album entitled "Fly Yellow Moon". You may recall my previous articles for ELOBF earlier this year on the subject of his ELOesque first single "She Needs Me" thus:

"Fly Yellow Moon"  is a really nice set of songs and well worth a listen. The album version of "She Needs Me" is even more ELOesque than the single edit.  This new edition of Fyfe's debut solo album includes his recent Top 10 hit single "She's Always A Woman To Me" plus three [3] extra tracks. ELO fans will also enjoy both the album and single versions of "Faster Than The Setting Sun".

ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] recommends "Fly Yellow Moon" by Fyfe Dangerfield to those enlightened folks who enjoy the music of ELO & Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, The Move, The Idle Race, 'Brum Beat'The Beatles and related artistes.

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! My good friend Christian "Jungle" Evans recently emailed Yours Truly KJS a brief but succinct review of Phil Bates' Wheels Of Fire gig in Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton the weekend before last. The place was apparently heaving and the debut of Phil's new project was more than well received thus:

"It was as a privilege and an honour to be present at the Wheels Of Fire gig at the Cons Club last night. I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed it and how good these musicians are, particularly a certain Mr. Phil Bates. My [goodness] I know what a fantastic musician he his but last night really showcased his talents, brilliant vocals and just awesome guitar playing. Already looking forward to the gig at The Robin on August 5th. I do hope this band continue together and play many more gigs." [end quote]

Wheels Of Fire will be returning to the Black Country on Thursday 5th August 2010 with a visit to The Robin 2 in Bilston near Wolverhampton. They will also be appearing the night after on Friday 6th August 2010 at The Moat House in Tamworth, Staffordshire [as per the above].

ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] recommends Wheels Of Fire to those enlightened folks who enjoy the music of ELO & Jeff LynneRoy WoodThe MoveThe Idle Race'Brum Beat'The Beatles and related artistes. See you there?
